Talk to any owner of a SolidWood® home and they will tell you that their homes are warm in the winter and cool in the summer with very little expensive energy added to keep them that way. The principle of a Passive House is all about good design to take advantage of free solar energy in the winter and creating shade and ventilation in the summer months.
